January 2013

It was suggested to me that I update this section.  As of today, I am 55 years old and I had breast cancer. Chances are good that I will have it again. I am continuing to update this blog with information about my ongoing thoughts on BC, on how my quarterly tests are going, and pretty much anything else that I can think of.  Thanks for reading, and don’t forget to comment if you see something that resonates with you.

I am 53 years old and I have breast cancer.

I also have a loving husband and 3 children, a large extended family, and a love of reading, traveling, and knitting.

I thought that getting laid off 9 months ago was a tragedy.  I can now see the silver lining, as I am no longer dealing with a remarkably stressful job and can focus on me and my own health right now.
